our Story

SJT Training was founded by James Sing, a proud Territorian with over 15 years in civil construction and a decade in public service. Together with his wife Stacey and daughter Tiayana, James built SJT as a family-run business to close a critical gap — turning qualifications into real-world skills through practical, work-ready training.

our Vision

Our vision is to be the Northern Territory’s leading training provider for the civil, construction and mining industries. More importantly, we aim to ensure that everyone who trains with us enters the workforce confident, capable and fully prepared for success.

our mission

Our mission is to help people gain real, hands-on skills through practical and culturally respectful training. We want every trainee to leave not just with a qualification, but with the confidence, experience, and readiness to succeed on the job and in their career.
