About Us
SJT Training is the trading name of SJT Training Aboriginal Corporation, a 100% owned and operated Aboriginal Corporation that was established by James and Stacey Sing.
Both are born and raised Territorian’s with both family’s history ingrained in the Top End. James and Stacey are both Indigenous with Kiyuk (Western Wagait) and Larrakia (Darwin) ancestry.
Our core objective at SJT Training is to raise the standards of heavy plant and equipment training for the civil, earthmoving and mining industries.
To achieve this we have strived to provide a one-of-a kind heavy plant and equipment training facility, designed to provide an environment where learner operators and new entrants into the Civil, Extractive and Mining industries are trained according to National Accreditation Standards.
In this environment our students are able to develop their skills and knowledge, as well as gain valuable on-plant experience in a safe and learner friendly environment.
All our training is supervised and conducted by industry experienced and Cert IV qualified Trainers and Assessors. SJT Training’s current scope includes three (3) qualifications along with other specific nationally accredited Units of Competency such as those listed here.
