About This Course
RIIMPO317F Conduct roller operations provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to safely operate a roller to compact materials in site-based work environments.
Through face-to-face learning and hands-on practical training, learners will develop the skills to plan and prepare for roller operations, complete pre-operational checks, operate the roller to suit site conditions, prepare the machine for relocation, and complete shutdown and housekeeping activities.
Training focuses on safe, efficient operation while building practical capability and confidence.

Practical training at SJT Training is generally conducted using our Dynapac CA4000D smooth drum roller, giving learners hands-on experience operating real civil construction equipment.
For workplace delivery, training may also be conducted using suitable client-supplied machinery, subject to confirmation by SJT Training. Equipment used may vary depending on availability, the delivery location and the learner’s training requirements.

Additional training or assessment may be required where competency has not yet been demonstrated.
You will need a valid Unique Student Identifier (USI) to enrol in nationally recognised training. Your USI allows your training results to be recorded against your national training record and must be provided before a Statement of Attainment can be issued.
